Israeli Strikes Kill 47 Across Lebanon, Health Ministry Says

HAROUF: Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health said Israeli air strikes carried out from midnight until Friday afternoon killed 47 people and wounded 97 others across southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley.

The ministry said the deadliest attack took place in Harouf, where nine people, including three women, were killed and 14 others were injured.

In al-Duweir, six people were killed, including a child and a woman, while seven people were killed in Haboush. Three people, including a child, were killed in Arab Salim, and three others died in Tal Abyad near Baalbek, according to the ministry.

The ministry said casualties were also reported in several other areas, including al-Sharqiyah, Kfarsir, al-Qatrani, Nabatieh, Deir al-Zahrani, Kfar Rumman, Kfar Jouz, Jebchit, Qaqaiyat al-Jisr, Adshit, al-Rayhan, Abba, al-Abbasiya and Ain Bourdai.

It added that since March 2, Israeli attacks on Lebanon have killed 3,980 people and injured 12,001 others.
