DG ISPR Highlights National Security in Student Interaction

Bahawalpur: Director General ISPR held a special interactive session with teachers and students at The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, engaging participants from various educational institutions and religious seminaries.

During the session, DG ISPR paid tribute to the people of Bahawalpur for their historic role in the Pakistan Movement and their continued contributions towards national stability.

Discussions focused on the national and regional security environment, Operation Bunyan-un-Marsoos, and the role of the Pakistan Army in safeguarding national security. Participants were also briefed on hostile propaganda, including the nexus between Fitna-ul-Hindustan and Fitna-ul-Khawarij, and the use of social media as a tool for misinformation.

The Vice Chancellor of Islamia University appreciated the detailed awareness session on Pakistan’s national security objectives and challenges.

Speakers and participants stressed that media literacy is essential for protecting youth awareness and independent thinking, calling it a key defence against negative propaganda and hostile narratives.

Students and teachers praised the Pakistan Army for standing with the nation during difficult times. Madrassa students said the armed forces have always upheld the Constitution and the state with pride.

The session concluded with students chanting slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “Pakistan Army Zindabad.”
