Islamabad: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to the defence and security of Saudi Arabia, saying Islamabad will go to any length to protect the Kingdom against aggression.
In an interview, the military spokesperson said Pakistani personnel were present in Saudi Arabia to help protect the Haramain Sharifain (the two holy mosques).
“There should be no doubt about it. We will continue to defend Saudi Arabia against any aggression,” Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif said.
The DG ISPR said Pakistan’s commitment to Saudi security was unconditional, describing it as a reflection of the historic and enduring relationship between the peoples, armed forces and political leadership of the two countries.
He reiterated that Pakistan would continue to defend Saudi Arabia and would “go to any length” to protect the Kingdom, underscoring Islamabad’s longstanding security ties with Riyadh.
