EXLUSIVE: Pakistan to Participate in Gaza Peace Board, Trump Heads Initiative

Islamabad / Washington: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has been invited by US President Donald Trump to join the newly proposed Gaza Peace Board (GPB), sources confirmed to World Watch Alert (WWA). The invitation follows a visit by Pakistan’s Foreign Minister to the United States earlier this year to discuss peace initiatives for Gaza and Afghanistan.

The board, which will be headed by President Trump, reportedly includes former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair and US Foreign Secretary Marco Rubio as key members. Pakistan is expected to send an official delegation, potentially accompanied by Field Marshal Gen Asim Munir, to participate in the formation of the board.

According to WWA sources, Trump has claimed that 59 other countries have agreed to join the Gaza Peace Board, including several Muslim-majority nations. The agreement establishing the board is expected to be prepared and signed by all participating countries in the presence of the US president.

The move marks a significant diplomatic development, potentially positioning Pakistan as a key player in Middle East peace initiatives, while strengthening ties with the United States on regional security matters.
