LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday announced the schedule for Australia’s three-match T20I tour of Pakistan, set to take place later this month as both teams prepare for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.
All three matches will be played at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, on January 29, January 31, and February 1. According to PCB, the toss will take place at 5:30pm, with matches starting at 6:00pm.
Australia’s T20I squad is scheduled to arrive in Lahore on January 28.
PCB said the series will provide vital match practice ahead of the T20 World Cup, where Pakistan are placed in Group A, while Australia feature in Group B.
This will be Australia’s third tour of Pakistan in recent years. The visitors previously played Test, ODI, and T20I matches during their 2022 tour and also featured in the 2025 Champions Trophy hosted in Pakistan.
PCB Chief Operating Officer Sumair Ahmed Syed welcomed the tour, calling it a strong start to the cricket calendar for Pakistani fans.
He said the Gaddafi Stadium has become a familiar venue for the Australian team, having hosted them across multiple formats since 2022, and urged fans to attend the matches in large numbers.
