BTS Reunites for Major Comeback with Fallon Show Appearance

WASHINGTON: South Korean boy band BTS is set to make a highly anticipated return to US late-night television with a full-group appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon later this month, marking their first such appearance in years following completion of mandatory military service.

According to media reports, all seven members — RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook — will reunite for a special two-night feature on March 25 and 26, which will include an interview and multiple performances.

The appearance coincides with the release of the group’s fifth studio album Arirang, scheduled to launch on March 20, signaling the beginning of a major comeback phase for the globally acclaimed group.

As part of the comeback, a live global streaming event titled BTS The Comeback Live | Arirang will be broadcast on Netflix on March 21 from Seoul’s Gwanghwamun area. In addition, a documentary, BTS: The Return, is set to premiere on March 27, offering fans behind-the-scenes insights into the group’s reunion and creative process.

This will be the group’s first full appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show since July 2021, when they performed during their “Butter” and “Permission to Dance” era. Since then, members have appeared individually, but this marks their first collective return, generating significant excitement among fans worldwide.
