Pakistan, Malaysia Agree to Strengthen Trade and Economic Cooperation

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Malaysian Foreign Minister Dato’ Seri Mohamad Hasan to discuss bilateral relations between Pakistan and Malaysia.

According to a statement, the two foreign ministers reviewed Pakistan-Malaysia relations, with particular focus on expanding trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.

Both sides underscored the importance of sustained high-level engagement to further strengthen bilateral ties and enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest.

Ishaq Dar and Mohamad Hasan also agreed to meet in New York on the sidelines of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly.
