Another Oil Tanker Targeted in Strait of Hormuz: UKMTO

England: Another oil tanker has been targeted in the Strait of Hormuz, the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has confirmed.

According to the UKMTO, the tanker caught fire after being struck by a missile of unknown type.

The fire has since been brought under control, and no injuries among the crew have been reported.There were also no reports of an oil spill from the vessel.

Earlier, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy said it had targeted a “Togo-flagged oil tanker” that was allegedly attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz “illegally.”
