Imran Khan Undergoes Follow-Up Eye Treatment at PIMS Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: Former Prime Minister and founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Imran Khan, was shifted to the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) in Islamabad for a scheduled follow-up eye treatment, hospital officials said.

According to a PIMS spokesperson, Imran Khan received his fifth intravitreal injection as part of his ongoing treatment. The procedure was carried out by specialist surgeons under microscopic guidance.

The spokesperson stated that the treatment was conducted on a day-care basis and that Imran Khan remained medically stable throughout the procedure. Doctors performed a comprehensive examination before administering the injection and reviewed Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) test results, which showed improvement in his eye condition.
