Trump Threatens Iran again with Possible Military Action

WASHINGTON: President Donald Trump has once again issued a strong warning to Iran, saying, “We’re going to be attacking them, and attacking them very hard,” while speaking to reporters in the Oval Office. His remarks came amid heightened tensions and questions about US policy toward Tehran.

He was asked to clarify earlier comments in which he suggested that Iran would have to “pay the price” for taking too long to reach a deal. The latest statement appeared to reinforce a tougher stance, escalating concerns over possible military action.

When journalists asked whether his comments meant the United States would resume its bombing campaign against Iran, Trump responded, “Yeah, well, based on the helicopter, I guess we have the right to do that.”

He further alleged that Iran had shot down a US Apache helicopter over the Strait of Hormuz, using this claim as part of his justification for potential military retaliation.
