In a message to Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan on the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Türkiye, President Zardari highlighted the close ties between the two countries, rooted in their shared history, common values and enduring people-to-people connections.

The president said Pakistan deeply valued the solidarity and support extended by the Turkish leadership and people during challenging times. He expressed confidence that enhanced political engagement and closer cooperation across various sectors would help further strengthen bilateral relations.

Beyond defence cooperation, Pakistan and Türkiye maintain relations in trade, investment, education and cultural exchange. Both countries have also continued engagement on regional and international issues of mutual concern.
