PALM BEACH, Mar 11 (APP): Hollywood actress Katherine Heigl made her first public appearance in nearly two years while attending a charity event in Palm Beach, Florida.
The former Grey’s Anatomy star participated in the Wine, Women & Shoes benefit organised by Big Dog Ranch Rescue on March 8.
Heigl, 47, appeared in a colourful knee-length dress featuring blue, green and purple patterns, paired with bright blue heels and a yellow purse. She completed her look with a voluminous updo.
During the event, Heigl spent time holding and posing with rescue puppies and was joined by her mother, Nancy Heigl. The mother-daughter duo posed for photographs while each cradled a puppy.
The appearance marked Heigl’s first major public outing since early 2024.
The actress, also known for her role in the film 27 Dresses, has largely stepped away from Hollywood after relocating to Utah with her husband Josh Kelley and their three children for a quieter lifestyle.
Heigl previously said she had found peace living away from the entertainment industry while focusing on family life.
Her most recent acting role was in the Firefly Lane, released on Netflix in 2023, although she has not ruled out taking on new projects in the future.
