ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s security forces are continuing air and ground operations in North Waziristan under Operation Ghazab Lil Haq, targeting militant elements along the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, security sources said.
According to details, the Pakistan Army is carrying out coordinated operations against militants referred to as Fitna al-Khawarij as well as armed groups linked with Afghan Taliban elements operating near the border.
Security sources said multiple militant posts were destroyed during aerial strikes conducted along the Pakistan–Afghanistan border.
They added that the action forced militants to abandon their positions and flee the area.
Sources further stated that the operation has inflicted significant losses on the militant groups due to the effective strategy adopted by security forces.
Officials said Operation Ghazab Lil Haq remains ongoing and will continue until its operational objectives are fully achieved.
