Iran has called for dialogue over rising tensions between Saudi Arabia and Yemen.
In a statement, Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman, Esmaeil Baghaei, said “a just solution to the Yemeni crisis” is needed.
Baghaei warned Yemen has no military solution to the conflict with Saudi Arabia and said Iran considers “returning to the path of dialogue and fully implementing the agreed roadmap to be the only way to end the suffering of the Yemeni people and maintain security and stability in the region.”
Baghaei said US policy in the region has complicated the situation in Yemen.
