Houthi spokesman meets Saudi delegation in Oman amid regional tensions

Yemen’s Houthi political bureau spokesman, Mohammed Abdulsalam, has met with a Saudi delegation in Oman as efforts continue to address rising regional tensions.

A source from Yemen’s Ansarullah Houthis said the meeting was aimed at advancing regional security and stability.

The meeting came after Yemen’s Iran-aligned Houthis fired on Saudi oil installations at two ports along the Red Sea coast on Saturday, following air strikes launched by Riyadh on Yemen’s Hodeidah province.

Meanwhile, the United States refrained from carrying out air strikes against Iran itself for the first night in two weeks.
