Historic Breakthrough Expected: PM Shehbaz Signals Imminent Peace Deal

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has indicated that USA & Iran are on the verge of concluding a historic peace agreement, stating that negotiations have reached their final stage and a formal deal could be finalized within the next 24 hours.

In a statement shared on social media, the prime minister said that we are “closer to a peace deal than ever before,” expressing optimism that the long-running negotiations are nearing a successful conclusion.

He noted that once the agreement is finalized, Pakistan is prepared to proceed with the electronic signing of the peace accord immediately afterward.

According to the statement, technical-level discussions are expected to continue next week to address implementation details and ensure the smooth execution of the agreement.

Prime Minister Shehbaz also extended gratitude to the United States and the Iran for their continued engagement and commitment throughout the negotiation process. He further thanked regional partners for their support and constructive role in advancing the peace efforts.

“We would like to thank the United States of America and the Islamic Republic of Iran for their ongoing commitment during the negotiations, and we extend our sincere appreciation to our brothers in the region for their support,” the prime minister said.

Describing the expected agreement as a landmark achievement, Shehbaz Sharif expressed confidence that the deal would serve as a strong foundation for lasting peace, stability, and regional cooperation.
