Pakistan, Turkiye stress dialogue for peaceful settlement of regional disputes

ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan on Wednesday.

Both leaders exchanged views on recent regional developments and emphasised the importance of dialogue and diplomacy in the peaceful settlement of disputes, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Dar also expressed gratitude for the warm Turkish hospitality extended to the Prime Minister and the Pakistani delegation, including himself, during the Antalya Diplomacy Forum held last weekend.

He further appreciated Turkiye for hosting the third meeting of the R-4 on the sidelines of the forum, which brought together the foreign ministers of Turkiye, Saudi Arabia, Egypt and Pakistan.
