TEHRAN: A football-related conversation took place between the interior ministers of Pakistan and Iran during their simultaneous presence at Mehrabad Airport alongside a delegation of the Iranian national football team.
During the interaction, Pakistan’s Interior Minister expressed his support for the Iranian national team, saying he had followed the team’s matches during the World Cup.
The Pakistani minister also wished the Iranian team success and expressed hope of meeting the players and officials in Pakistan in the near future.
The informal exchange took place as the two ministers and the Iranian national football team delegation were present at Mehrabad Airport.
