Tehran: Iran has warned that negotiations with the United States will remain futile unless Washington accepts all of Tehran’s conditions, according to a senior Iranian parliamentary official.
Ebrahim Azizi, head of Iran’s Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Committee, made the remarks in posts on X, stressing that Tehran’s demands must be accepted before any meaningful dialogue can take place.
“As long as the American side does not accept all of Iran’s conditions, dialogue and negotiation are of no use,” Azizi wrote.In a separate post, Azizi reiterated Iran’s position, stating: “No negotiations. Until Iran’s terms are met, talks are futile.”
The statements underline Tehran’s firm stance on negotiations with Washington and suggest that Iran does not currently see dialogue as productive without prior acceptance of its stated conditions by the United States.
