Pakistan to Launch Hajj Flights from April 18

ISLAMABAD: Hajj flight operations from Pakistan will begin on April 18 and continue until May 21, transporting pilgrims to Saudi Arabia under the government Hajj Scheme 2026, the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony announced.

According to the ministry, a total of 468 flights will carry 119,000 Pakistani pilgrims to the holy cities of Madinah and Makkah.

Flights will initially depart from Karachi, Lahore, Sialkot and Multan, with operations later expanding to eight cities across the country. Airlines participating in the Hajj operation include Pakistan International Airlines (PIA), AirBlue, Air Sial and Saudia.

The ministry said four flights will depart for Madinah on the first day, while during the first 15 days all pilgrims will be flown exclusively to Madinah. In total, 186 flights are scheduled for Madinah, while 282 flights will operate to Jeddah, with Jeddah-bound flights starting from May 4.

Under the government scheme, 67,230 male pilgrims and 51,846 female pilgrims will travel to Saudi Arabia this year.

Hajj flights will operate from eight cities with the following allocations: Islamabad 129 flights, Karachi 124, Lahore 104, Multan 34, Sialkot 26, Faisalabad 23, Quetta 18, and Sukkur five flights.

Pilgrims have been advised to check their flight schedules through the Pak Hajj Mobile application or the ministry’s official website for updated information.
