Houston: Several Arab governments are increasingly calling for an immediate end to the escalating war following the United States and Israel’s attacks on Iran, warning that the conflict is pushing the Middle East toward a severe economic and security crisis.
According to Chief Editor WWA & geopolitical analyst Asif Ali Bhatti, the economic fallout of the war is already being felt across the Gulf region.
He explained that vital trade routes, ports, and energy infrastructure are facing rising security threats, disrupting commercial activity and increasing uncertainty for regional markets.
Bhatti noted that if the conflict continues, Gulf economies could face significant damage, while global energy markets may also experience serious shocks.
The region’s strategic shipping lanes, including the nearby Strait of Hormuz, remain particularly vulnerable to escalation.
Amid these growing concerns, several Arab governments have openly urged Washington to push for a diplomatic solution and halt the conflict before it spirals further out of control.
He warn that a prolonged war could destabilize the broader Middle East, threatening both economic stability and regional security.
