Tehran/Islamabad (Razi Tahir) — Iran has prepared for an all-out, multi-layered, and comprehensive war amid escalating regional tensions, a senior Iranian security official has told World Watch Alert.
The informed security source said Iran has made a definitive decision to respond to any enemy aggression, killing, or targeted assassination without any limits or restraint.
According to the official, Iran’s armed forces are fully prepared to strike the interests and targets within their reach belonging to aggressors and their supporters across the region with full force.
The official emphasized that Tehran’s position is clear: any renewed hostile action against Iran would be met with a response that would not be constrained by limitations or restraint. He warned that any fresh military aggression would put the interests and objectives of the aggressors and their regional supporters at risk.
The Iranian official further stated that, from Tehran’s perspective, the United States would not attack Iran without the Israeli regime, nor would Israel launch an attack without American involvement.
Describing the possibility of either side acting independently in a war against Iran as “a bitter joke,” the official stressed the close coordination between the American and Israeli military establishments.
He added that explicit threats by American officials and the Israeli regime to attack Iran had provided Tehran with what he described as the legal and moral justification to take necessary defensive measures.
The remarks come amid heightened regional tensions and renewed threats of military action against Iran. According to the report, both the United States and Israel are heading into elections in the coming weeks.
Nuclear Issue Is Just a Pretext; US Opposes Iran’s Islamic Establishment and Resistance: Iranian Foreign Minister
Iranian security officials and military commanders have repeatedly warned that any renewed aggression against the country could place American interests across the region at greater risk.
Major General Mohsen Rezaei, secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council (SNSC), has said that there will be no negotiations with the United States until Washington takes steps to build trust.
In a statement posted on his X account, Rezaei said the process must begin with the full implementation of all Iran’s conditions.
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf has also stated that a permanent ceasefire with the United States depends on Washington meeting Tehran’s seven conditions.
During a meeting with Pakistan’s Army Chief, Field Marshal Asim Munir, in Tehran on Tuesday, Qalibaf said the United States had become trapped in a quagmire because of its miscalculations and war against Iran. He added that Washington must now take the necessary steps to extricate itself from the situation.
Terms of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding
According to the report, under a 14-point Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), signed by the Iranian and US presidents in June, Washington is required to end the war on all fronts and lift its blockade and sanctions against Iran.
In return, Tehran agreed to gradually reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
Iran brought the strategic waterway in the Persian Gulf under its control during the early days of the US-Israeli aggression in March.
The Strait of Hormuz is a critical maritime route for global energy shipments, and developments surrounding the waterway could have significant implications for regional security and the global economy.
