Youm-e-Takbeer, celebrated on 28 May every year, is one of the most important days in Pakistan’s history. On this day in 1998, Pakistan successfully conducted nuclear tests and became a nuclear power. This historic achievement showed the world that Pakistan is a strong, independent, and sovereign nation that can protect its people and borders.
The foundation of Pakistan’s nuclear program was laid by Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who dreamed of making Pakistan strong and secure. Years later, former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif of PMLN, turned that dream into reality by making the courageous decision to conduct the nuclear tests despite strong international pressure and difficult circumstances. His leadership at that critical moment is remembered as an important chapter in the country’s history.

Youm-e-Takbeer is not only a symbol of national defense but also a symbol of unity, determination, and self-confidence. The success of the nuclear program was made possible through the hard work and dedication of many talented people who worked day and night for the country.
The nation pays tribute to Dr Abdul Qadeer Khan, Dr Samar Mubarakmand, and all the scientists, engineers, and armed forces personnel who played a major role in making Pakistan’s nuclear program successful. Their efforts, sacrifices, and patriotism helped strengthen the country and made the nation proud.

Pakistan’s nuclear capability has always been based on the principle of responsible defense and maintaining peace in the region. Pakistan believes in peaceful coexistence and stability while ensuring that its defense remains strong enough to protect national sovereignty and security.
Youm-e-Takbeer also reminds the nation of the importance of unity and national solidarity. The people of Pakistan have always stood together during difficult times and have shown courage and resilience in the face of challenges. This spirit of unity continues to inspire future generations to work for the progress, development, and prosperity of the country.

Today, Pakistan continues to move forward in many important areas, including national security, diplomacy, economic development, and regional peace. The country is playing a positive role in strengthening relations with other nations and improving its image at the international level. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, the current government is working towards economic stability, national progress, and a stronger Pakistan.
As the nation celebrates Youm-e-Takbeer, it is important to remember that this day is not only about past achievements but also about the future of Pakistan. The message of Youm-e-Takbeer teaches us to remain united, confident, hardworking, and committed to the strength and progress of our country.

The success achieved in Marka-e-Haq is also a reflection of the same spirit of courage, determination, and strong national defense that was demonstrated on Youm-e-Takbeer in 1998. It proved that a strong and united nation can overcome every challenge with dignity and confidence. With unity, sincere leadership, and dedication, Pakistan can continue to move towards peace, development, and prosperity for future generations.
This day teaches us to stop blaming others and stand together for a better future. Youm-e-Takbir reminds us that real strength comes from unity and determination. Unity, faith, and discipline are the true path to success, as taught by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, the founder of Pakistan.
