LAHORE: The remaining matches of the One-Day International (ODI) tri-series have been shifted from Rawalpindi to Lahore, with all subsequent fixtures set to take place at Gaddafi Stadium. Pakistan will face England in the fourth match of the series on Sunday, with the national team currently topping the group with four points.
The Pakistan cricket team has begun preparations at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore ahead of the upcoming fixture. Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi also visited the stadium and observed the team’s training session, including the players’ batting and bowling practice.
During the visit, Naqvi met head coach Mike Hesson and the team manager to discuss matters related to the squad. He also interacted with the players and observed their preparations for the remaining matches of the tournament.
Meanwhile, Pakistan fast bowler Haris Rauf said that conceding sixes was part of the game and that every bowler around the world faced similar challenges. He emphasised that better results would require Pakistan to score more runs with the bat while also restricting opponents from posting big totals.
His remarks highlighted the importance of a balanced team performance as Pakistan prepares for its next match against England.
