ISLAMABAD: Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif held separate meetings with the diplomatic representatives of Ethiopia, Rwanda and Tajikistan, with discussions focusing on bilateral relations and matters of mutual interest.
According to the Ministry of Defence spokesperson, Ethiopian Ambassador Dr. Omar Hussain Oba, Rwandan High Commissioner Harerimana Fatu and Tajik Ambassador Yusuf Sharifzoda met with the defence minister.
The meetings also discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the fields of defence and aviation.
Khawaja Asif said Pakistan was keen to further strengthen bilateral relations with all three countries and promote cooperation based on mutual interests.
The diplomatic representatives appreciated the ongoing cooperation with Pakistan and expressed their desire to further expand bilateral collaboration in various areas.
