RAWALPINDI: Belarusian State Secretary of the Security Council Lieutenant General Alexander Volfovich visited General Headquarters (GHQ), where a high-level Belarusian delegation met with Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir.
According to Pakistan’s Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting included discussions on the regional and global security situation, as well as matters of mutual interest between Pakistan and Belarus.
The two sides also reviewed the scope of bilateral defence cooperation.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir said Pakistan seeks to further expand cooperation with Belarus in the defence and security sectors, according to the ISPR.
The Belarusian side reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening defence and security cooperation with Pakistan. The Belarusian delegation also appreciated Pakistan’s role in promoting regional peace and stability.
