RIYADH: A committee of the Makkah Defense Pact involving Türkiye, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan will hold talks in Riyadh on October 5, Türkiye’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Sunday.
According to a statement issued by the Turkish Foreign Ministry, Turkish ministers will also participate in the meeting.
The ministry said the meeting will discuss recent developments in the region and review progress made so far in efforts to institutionalize the alliance.
The talks are expected to focus on strengthening coordination and cooperation among the three countries in light of the evolving regional situation.
