RAWALPINDI: Pakistan, Türkiye, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan have conducted the multinational special forces exercise “Eternal Brotherhood-5” in Uzbekistan, with troops from five countries participating in the exercise.
The exercise was held from September 13 to 25, 2026, while Kazakhstan participated as an observer.
According to the Pakistan military, the exercise aimed to enhance cooperation, coordination and professional capabilities among the special forces of the participating countries.
During the exercise, the participating forces exchanged practical experience and expertise related to modern operations and combat strategies. They also shared their experiences in dealing with various security challenges.
The exercise provided an opportunity to strengthen coordination and facilitate the exchange of operational knowledge and experiences among the special forces of the participating countries.
The “Eternal Brotherhood-5” exercise reflects growing defence and security cooperation, mutual trust and military ties among the participating countries, according to the military.
