KARACHI: Gold prices in Pakistan declined further as a sharp drop in international gold rates weighed on the local bullion market.
According to market data, the international price of gold fell by $56 per ounce to $4,258.
Following the decline in global prices, the price of gold in Pakistan decreased by Rs5,600 per tola, while the price of 10 grams fell by Rs4,800.
After the latest reduction, the price of gold stood at Rs448,336 per tola in local bullion markets, while 10 grams of gold was priced at Rs384,175.
The latest decline comes amid continued fluctuations in international gold prices, which directly influence rates in Pakistan’s local bullion markets.
