Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni Arrives in Pakistan

Islamabad: Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni arrived in Pakistan on Monday with a high-level delegation, where he was warmly received by Pakistan’s Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

During the welcoming ceremony, Minister of State for Interior Talal Chaudhry presented a bouquet to the visiting Iranian minister. Iran’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, was also present on the occasion.

Welcoming the Iranian delegation, Mohsin Naqvi said Pakistan was pleased to receive its “brother” and expressed hope that Minister Momeni’s visit would bring positive developments.

He added that the visit would further strengthen bilateral relations between Pakistan and Iran and contribute to progress on important regional issues.

Naqvi also expressed optimism that both sides would hold productive discussions aimed at enhancing cooperation and deepening ties across areas of mutual interest.

The visit is expected to include meetings on bilateral cooperation, border security, and regional developments as the two neighboring countries seek to expand collaboration and reinforce their longstanding relationship.
