HOUSTON: Democratic candidate Haroon Mughal has formally launched his election campaign for the office of Fort Bend County Commissioner
The campaign was inaugurated at a well-attended event in Houston, drawing a large number of supporters and community members from various walks of life. Addressing the gathering, Haroon Mughal said he has been actively involved in community and political activities in Houston for over a decade and has consistently supported and campaigned for Pakistani-origin candidates in the past.
He said the strong encouragement and support from the public motivated him to contest the election himself. “With your trust and support, I hope to succeed with your valuable votes,” he said, expressing confidence in winning the constituency.
Several notable community figures also spoke at the event, lauding Haroon Mughal’s services and contributions. They announced their full support for his candidacy and reiterated their commitment to backing him in the upcoming election.
