ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister of the Maldives Iruthisham Adam, accompanied by cabinet ministers and senior officials, arrived in Islamabad on Tuesday morning ahead of the state visit of Maldivian President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, who is scheduled to arrive later today.
The visiting delegation was received at the airport by the spokesperson of Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Director General for South Asia and SAARC, the High Commissioner of the Maldives to Pakistan, and the High Commissioner of Pakistan to the Maldives.
President Muizzu’s visit is expected to provide an opportunity for Pakistan and the Maldives to strengthen bilateral relations and discuss matters of mutual interest.
