Tehran Claims Major Strikes on US Bases, Israeli Military Sites

Tehran: Following the reported martyrdom of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has claimed it launched large-scale attacks on US military installations across the Middle East.

According to Iranian state media, the IRGC announced it had initiated the sixth phase of retaliatory operations in response to recent US and Israeli bombardment of Iran.

In a statement, the IRGC said it carried out extensive missile and drone strikes targeting Israeli positions as well as US military bases in the region. The statement claimed that a total of 27 US military bases were struck.

Iranian authorities further asserted that Israel’s Tel Nof Airbase, the Israeli military’s command headquarters in Tel Aviv known as HaKirya, and a major defense industrial complex in the same city were also targeted.

The IRGC warned that Iranian forces are prepared to take “different and more severe” retaliatory measures, signaling that further action may follow.

The claimed strikes have heightened fears of further escalation in the Middle East, with the international community closely monitoring developments.
