WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump has said that the United States is making significant progress in the war against Iran, claiming that the threat of Iran developing nuclear weapons has now ended.
Speaking in an interview with a US news channel, Trump said the United States was achieving major success in its military campaign against Iran.
“The threat of nuclear weapons from Iran is now over,” the US president said.
Trump also warned that any Iranian attack on a major American city, such as Los Angeles or San Diego, would constitute a very serious situation.
He said an attack on any major US city would not be treated as a minor incident.
