ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar briefed the media on Pakistan’s extensive diplomatic engagements during the High-Level Week of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA), held in New York from September 21 to 25, 2026.
Ishaq Dar outlined Pakistan’s participation in a series of high-level meetings, bilateral engagements and multilateral initiatives during the UNGA session.
He said the diplomatic engagements were aimed at advancing Pakistan’s foreign policy priorities, strengthening relations with partner countries and contributing to international peace, security and sustainable development.
The Deputy Prime Minister also highlighted Pakistan’s positions on key regional and global developments discussed during the high-level week.
During the media briefing, Dar responded to questions on a wide range of foreign policy issues, providing an overview of Pakistan’s diplomatic priorities and engagements at the United Nations.
The UNGA High-Level Week brought together world leaders and senior officials for discussions on major international, regional and development-related issues.
