Houston: The Islamic Society of Greater Houston (ISGH) has launched a new healthcare pilot project at Masjid As-Salam to support financially challenged individuals and families with access to quality medical care.
Through the ISGH Health Card, eligible community members will be connected with a growing network of volunteer physicians and clinics.
Organizers said the initiative aims to serve both Muslims and non-Muslims with compassionate healthcare support.
Community members have been encouraged to spread awareness, refer families in need, and support the program’s outreach efforts.
Dr. M. Usman Khan, Director North Zone and Administrator of the ISGH Healthcare Program, said the initiative is focused on ensuring that no one is deprived of essential healthcare because of financial hardship.
