NDMA predicts rainfall across multiple regions of Pakistan from May 19 to 22

ISLAMABAD: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) has forecast rainfall accompanied by hail and thunderstorms in various districts of Punjab from May 19 to 22.

According to NDMA, rainfall is expected in Rawalpindi, Islamabad, Murree, Attock, Chakwal, Lahore, Sialkot, Kasur, Multan district, and adjoining areas.

The disaster management authority has also predicted rainfall along with strong winds and hailstorms in several districts of Balochistan, including Quetta, Zhob, Ziarat, Chaman, Khuzdar, and surrounding areas from May 19 to 22.

It further said that other parts of Balochistan and most areas of Sindh are likely to experience hot and dry weather with rising temperatures during the same period.

Meanwhile, rainfall accompanied by thunder and hailstorms is also expected in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa districts, including Chitral, Swat, Peshawar, Bannu, Abbottabad, Mansehra, and Landi Kotal.

Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir are also expected to receive rainfall, including in Skardu, Gilgit, Astore, Muzaffarabad, Neelum Valley, Bagh, and Kotli.
