ISLAMABAD: The refund process for tickets of the upcoming season of the Pakistan Super League will commence from March 30, tournament organisers announced on Wednesday.
According to the organisers, fans who purchased PSL 11 tickets online will receive refunds automatically through the original payment method used at the time of booking. The policy applies to transactions made via debit and credit cards as well as digital payment platforms.
The refund exercise is expected to be completed within 15 working days, though the timeline may vary depending on individual banks and payment service providers. Ticket holders have not been asked to initiate the process themselves; however, those facing delays beyond the stipulated period have been advised to contact their bank or payment platform for assistance.
The decision to refund tickets follows the Pakistan Cricket Board move to stage PSL 11 matches behind closed doors in Karachi and Lahore as part of officially announced national resource conservation measures.
Under the revised schedule, the tournament will feature 44 matches over 39 days, with each city hosting 22 fixtures. The opening match between the Hyderabad Kingsmen and the Lahore Qalandars will proceed as planned.
Lahore will host Eliminators 1 and 2 as well as the final, while the Qualifier will take place in Karachi.
Organisers said that with the competition shifting to a watch-from-home model, enhanced broadcast and production features will be introduced to improve the viewing experience for fans in Pakistan and worldwide.
