Netanyahu Says Israel at “Strongest Point Ever,” Warns Iran Against Military Action

Jerusalem (Monitoring Desk) Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told lawmakers that Israel is currently at its “strongest point ever,” citing unprecedented coordination with the United States and warning Iran against what he described as a historic mistake.

Addressing the plenum of the Knesset during a so-called “40-signatures” debate, Netanyahu said Israel’s strategic, diplomatic, and military position has never been more robust.

He emphasized that relations with the United States are closer than at any previous time.In remarks widely interpreted as directed toward Tehran, Netanyahu pointed to what he described as exceptionally strong personal ties between himself and US President Donald Trump.

He also highlighted what he called deep operational coordination between the Israeli military and US armed forces.

According to Netanyahu, this level of cooperation enhances Israel’s deterrence capabilities and strengthens its preparedness for potential regional threats.

He said the partnership with Washington plays a central role in maintaining Israel’s qualitative military edge.

Despite projecting confidence, the prime minister acknowledged that the country is navigating what he described as a particularly complex and difficult period, marked by regional instability and heightened tensions.

Issuing a direct warning to Iran, Netanyahu said that if Tehran were to make what he termed “the gravest error in its history” by attacking Israel, the response would be delivered with overwhelming force far beyond anything Iranian leaders could anticipate.

His remarks come amid ongoing tensions between Israel and Iran, as well as broader geopolitical shifts across the Middle East.

Iranian officials have repeatedly rejected Israeli accusations and have warned against escalation, while Israel maintains that it will act decisively to defend its security interests.

The latest statements underscore the continuing volatility in the region and the central role of US-Israel coordination in shaping the current strategic landscape.
