Ayaz Sadiq Accepts Resignation of Akhtar Mengal

Islamabad (Our Correspondent) National Assembly Speaker Ayaz Sadiq has formally accepted the resignation of senior politician and Balochistan National Party (BNP) chief Akhtar Mengal, marking a significant political development.

According to official sources, the resignation was submitted earlier and remained pending before being formally approved by the Speaker. With the acceptance, Akhtar Mengal has officially ceased to be a member of the National Assembly.

Akhtar Mengal, a former chief minister of Balochistan and a prominent advocate of Baloch rights, had tendered his resignation citing political and constitutional concerns, as well as grievances related to the situation in Balochistan.
