{"id":8063,"date":"2026-11-04T17:45:22","date_gmt":"2026-11-04T17:45:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.worldwatchalert.com\/?p=8063"},"modified":"2026-11-04T17:45:23","modified_gmt":"2026-11-04T17:45:23","slug":"irans-supreme-leader-says-us-hostility-toward-tehran-will-persist-despite-change-in-administration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.worldwatchalert.com\/?p=8063","title":{"rendered":"Iran\u2019s Supreme Leader Says US Hostility Toward Tehran Will Persist Despite Change in Administration"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>TEHRAN:<\/strong> Iran\u2019s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei has said the United States has pursued a policy of domination and hostility toward Iran for the past seven decades, asserting that the Iranian people have successfully defended their independence and sovereignty despite sustained American pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a message to the Iranian nation, Khamenei cited the 1953 overthrow of Iran\u2019s government as a major example of US interference. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He said Washington had sought to gain control over Iran\u2019s resources, particularly its oil, while its support for the Shah, assistance to Iraq, and economic sanctions were also part of its hostile policy toward Tehran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Khamenei said the United States had resorted to political interference, assassinations, and direct military attacks against Iran.
