{"id":8011,"date":"2026-11-02T09:58:55","date_gmt":"2026-11-02T09:58:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.worldwatchalert.com\/?p=8011"},"modified":"2026-11-02T09:58:55","modified_gmt":"2026-11-02T09:58:55","slug":"kp-government-was-among-terrorism-facilitators-says-dg-ispr","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.worldwatchalert.com\/?p=8011","title":{"rendered":"KP Government Was Among Terrorism Facilitators, Says DG ISPR"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ISLAMABAD<\/strong>: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has alleged that an \u201cincompetent and indifferent\u201d government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa was among the facilitators of terrorism, adding that a key facilitator who had been obstructing counterterrorism efforts was no longer in the province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said Pakistan had a clear strategy to tackle terrorism, a key component of which was eliminating terrorists and all their facilitators operating within the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He said certain terrorism-related challenges also needed to be addressed internally, stressing that Pakistan\u2019s counterterrorism efforts required dealing with both terrorists and those providing them support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The DG ISPR further stated that no one in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa opposed counterterrorism operations in principle.
