{"id":7928,"date":"2026-10-31T05:54:06","date_gmt":"2026-10-31T05:54:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.worldwatchalert.com\/?p=7928"},"modified":"2026-10-31T05:54:06","modified_gmt":"2026-10-31T05:54:06","slug":"pakistan-south-korea-sign-mou-to-strengthen-bilateral-judicial-cooperation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.worldwatchalert.com\/?p=7928","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan, South Korea Sign MoU to Strengthen Bilateral Judicial Cooperation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Seoul<\/strong>: Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Yahya Afridi and Chief Justice of South Korea Jo Hee-de signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen bilateral judicial cooperation between the Supreme Courts of the two countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The signing ceremony was held at the Supreme Court of Korea in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, during Chief Justice Yahya Afridi&#8217;s official visit to the country. South Korean Chief Justice Jo Hee-de warmly welcomed his Pakistani counterpart upon his arrival at the Supreme Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two chief justices held detailed discussions on enhancing bilateral judicial cooperation and strengthening institutional ties between the judicial systems of both countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the MoU, the two Supreme Courts will promote exchanges of judicial delegations, professional training, judicial education, joint research and the sharing of best judicial practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agreement places particular emphasis on judicial reforms, modern court administration and digital justice systems. Both sides agreed to enhance cooperation in electronic court systems and smart courts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">They also agreed to exchange expertise and experiences in the responsible use of artificial intelligence in judicial administration, judicial data analytics, cybersecurity and emerging judicial technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The MoU will facilitate study visits, exchanges of experts, joint conferences, seminars and high-level judicial dialogues. It also establishes an institutional coordination mechanism to implement joint initiatives aimed at strengthening judicial cooperation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the visit, Chief Justice Yahya Afridi also met South Korea&#8217;s Minister of National Court Administration, Justice Noh Kyung-pil.
