{"id":7910,"date":"2026-10-30T08:20:15","date_gmt":"2026-10-30T08:20:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.worldwatchalert.com\/?p=7910"},"modified":"2026-10-30T08:20:15","modified_gmt":"2026-10-30T08:20:15","slug":"pti-plans-six-member-committee-to-negotiate-end-of-governors-rule-in-kp","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.worldwatchalert.com\/?p=7910","title":{"rendered":"PTI Plans Six-Member Committee to Negotiate End of Governor\u2019s Rule in KP"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ISLAMABAD<\/strong>: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to pursue negotiations for the removal of governor\u2019s rule and the emergency imposed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, with the party\u2019s provincial parliamentary group preparing to establish a six-member negotiating committee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to sources, the decision was taken during a provincial parliamentary party meeting held last night, attended by 46 members. PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan also participated in the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sources said the proposed committee would include Barrister Gohar, former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister Ali Amin Gandapur and Noor-ul-Haq Qadri. Three members of the provincial assembly would also be included. The committee is expected to hold negotiations aimed at ending governor\u2019s rule and the emergency in the province.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the sources, Gandapur declined to participate in the negotiations without a formal announcement, questioning in what capacity the government would accept him at the negotiating table in the absence of an official notification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During the meeting, Barrister Gohar assured participants that the negotiating committee would be formally announced within 48 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The meeting also decided that the release of PTI founder Imran Khan, his three sisters and suspended KP Chief Minister Sohail Afridi would be the
