{"id":7611,"date":"2026-10-21T13:10:41","date_gmt":"2026-10-21T13:10:41","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.worldwatchalert.com\/?p=7611"},"modified":"2026-10-21T13:10:45","modified_gmt":"2026-10-21T13:10:45","slug":"turkiye-pakistan-qatar-and-indonesia-sign-badr-defence-industry-cooperation-pact","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.worldwatchalert.com\/?p=7611","title":{"rendered":"T\u00fcrkiye, Pakistan, Qatar and Indonesia Sign \u2018Badr\u2019 Defence Industry Cooperation Pact"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>DOHA:<\/strong> T\u00fcrkiye, Pakistan, Qatar and Indonesia have signed a multilateral defence industry cooperation agreement in Doha, marking a new step towards strengthening military production, technology development and defence industrial collaboration among the four countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The memorandum of understanding, named \u201cBadr\u201d, was signed by representatives of the four countries\u2019 defence ministries on Wednesday, according to T\u00fcrkiye\u2019s Defence Ministry and reports by international news agencies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The agreement aims to expand cooperation in joint military production, research and development (R&amp;D), technical military training and the development of national defence capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Under the framework, the four countries intend to build on their existing bilateral defence projects and move towards a broader multilateral industrial partnership. The initiative is also designed to promote technology transfer, strengthen industrial cooperation and make better use of each country\u2019s defence production capabilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">T\u00fcrkiye already maintains significant defence industry partnerships with the other three countries. These include cooperation with Pakistan on naval vessel production, joint tank development with Indonesia, and defence equipment production and technology partnerships with Qatar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new agreement is expected to create opportunities for further joint projects and closer coordination among the participating countries\u2019 defence industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The memorandum is focused on defence industry cooperation, including production, training and technological development.
