However, he maintained that the US response fell short of Iran\u2019s requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rezaei said Iran would not hold talks with Washington until the conditions were fulfilled. In a post on X, he added that Iranian diplomacy had changed and that there would be no return to the previous status quo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Iranian official also mocked US President Donald Trump over what he described as Washington\u2019s resort to \u201csmuggling\u201d after the US Navy failed to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
