{"id":7219,"date":"2026-10-08T14:12:48","date_gmt":"2026-10-08T14:12:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.worldwatchalert.com\/?p=7219"},"modified":"2026-10-08T14:12:52","modified_gmt":"2026-10-08T14:12:52","slug":"pakistan-bahrain-agree-to-enhance-trade-and-investment-cooperation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.worldwatchalert.com\/?p=7219","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan, Bahrain Agree to Enhance Trade and Investment Cooperation"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a meeting with Bahrain\u2019s Foreign Minister Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani in Islamabad, with both sides agreeing to further strengthen trade, investment and economic cooperation between the two countries.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office, the two foreign ministers reviewed various aspects of Pakistan-Bahrain bilateral relations during the meeting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Particular focus was placed on expanding trade activities, economic partnerships and investment opportunities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two sides discussed ways to further enhance cooperation in these areas and agreed to make coordination more effective on matters of mutual interest at multilateral international forums.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-x wp-block-embed-x\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Deputy Prime Minister\/Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/MIshaqDar50?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@MIshaqDar50<\/a> and the Foreign Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, H.E. Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani, signed the Protocol recording the Minutes of the 3rd Session of the Pakistan\u2013Bahrain Joint Ministerial\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/vxTRxnDvV0\">pic.twitter.com\/vxTRxnDvV0<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Ministry of Foreign Affairs &#8211; Pakistan (@ForeignOfficePk) <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ForeignOfficePk\/status\/2108168896956289249?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">October 8, 2026<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.x.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ishaq Dar and Al Zayani expressed satisfaction over the positive progress in high-level diplomatic contacts between Pakistan and Bahrain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both leaders reaffirmed their desire to build on the current positive momentum in bilateral relations and further promote cooperation in areas of mutual interest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two foreign ministers also exchanged views on the evolving regional situation and global developments of common concern.
