{"id":7207,"date":"2026-10-08T06:09:56","date_gmt":"2026-10-08T06:09:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.worldwatchalert.com\/?p=7207"},"modified":"2026-10-08T06:09:58","modified_gmt":"2026-10-08T06:09:58","slug":"trump-says-us-will-soon-leave-iran-predicts-sharp-drop-in-oil-prices","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.worldwatchalert.com\/?p=7207","title":{"rendered":"Trump Says US Will Soon Leave Iran, Predicts Sharp Drop in Oil Prices"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump has said that the United States will soon leave Iran and predicted that oil prices are set to \u201cdrop like a rock.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Speaking at an election rally in Texas, Trump reiterated his position on Iran\u2019s nuclear program, saying the United States would not allow Tehran to acquire nuclear weapons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trump said he wanted to reach a possible agreement with Iran, but questioned whether Tehran was prepared to take acceptable steps to halt its nuclear program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cI think a deal is something I really want to do,\u201d Trump said, while questioning whether Iran was willing to offer measures to stop its nuclear program. He reiterated that Iran would never be allowed to possess nuclear weapons.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The US president also repeated his controversial statements regarding alleged Iranian attacks on Los Angeles and San Diego in recent days.
