The UAE Foreign Ministry also declined to comment on the report.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to Israeli media, Netanyahu traveled to Abu Dhabi on a private aircraft and returned to Israel after staying in the UAE for approximately one day. Details regarding the agenda of the meeting and the issues discussed by the two leaders have not been disclosed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The reported meeting comes amid continued diplomatic and security ties between Israel and the UAE, as well as heightened regional tensions. The two countries established diplomatic relations under the Abraham Accords in 2020 and have maintained cooperation across several sectors since then.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In May this year, Netanyahu\u2019s office also announced that the Israeli prime minister had visited the UAE and met Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed. However, the UAE subsequently denied that the meeting had taken place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Earlier this month, Israeli newspaper Haaretz reported that Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed had allegedly warned Netanyahu about preparations by Hamas for a major operation around a week and a half before the October 7, 2023 attack. Netanyahu has denied the report, while the UAE has not directly commented on the claim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The British news agency reported that security contacts between Israel and the UAE have continued.
