We&#8217;re doing very well. We&#8217;re trying to be as nice as you can be in a situation like that. But they&#8217;re being decimated.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cIt&#8217;s very simple,\u201d he said, adding: \u201cIran will not have a nuclear weapon.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We\u2019ll be hitting Iran very hard, and at some point, they\u2019re going to say, \u2018We just can\u2019t take it anymore\u2019,\u201d Trump added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The US president also rejected reports suggesting Iran remains in a strong position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Iran is doing very poorly,&#8221; he said. &#8220;They&#8217;ve been very dishonest. They&#8217;ve been very dishonorable to deal with.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Trump compared the war on Iran with previous US wars in Vietnam and Afghanistan, saying the US has been involved for only five months and it has &#8220;obliterated&#8221; Iran&#8217;s military capacity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On negotiations with Iran, Trump said: \u201cI&#8217;m losing faith in them because they do lie.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We were in the midst of a negotiation.
